February 2025 - Worcester, MA

Worcester Firefighters Hockey, established in 1986, is a proud team composed entirely of Worcester Firefighters. While they don’t focus on accolades, their mission has always been about more than just a game. Over the years, they’ve played in numerous games, tournaments, and charity events across the northeast.

Worcester is known as the city of 7 Hills, this is shown in the background of the logo highlighting their mascot, Woostachio, adorned on a design as a nostalgic nod to their former, and beloved American Hockey League team, The Worcester Ice Cats.

Worcester Firefighters Hockey’s main goal is to support their charity by fundraising all year leading up to the BFit Hero’s Cup, in Marlborough MA. This is an initiative that encourages teams to fundraise and come together through the great game of hockey. All the fundraising and donations are submitted to the Worcester Firefighters 6K, a 501c3 started after the tragic loss of 6 brothers on 12/3/1999. The initiative supports several local charities including NEADS Dogs for Deaf and Disabled Americans, American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, and Genesis Club of Worcester. They have proudly raised over $50,000 in recent years.
